The Coffs Harbour Liquor Accord aims to reduce alcohol-related violence, antisocial behaviour and other alcohol related harm within the local community. In NSW, there are over 140 liquor accords in operation.

The Coffs Harbour Liquor Accord Inc has been developed as a partnership involving the input and cooperation of the key stake holders. It is based on harm minimisation and Responsible Service of Alcohol principles contained within the liquor laws. All parties undertake to implement the principles to improve the safety and environment in the Coffs Harbour local area.

The underpinning strategy is to address community issues by community members in a proactive way that will deliver best outcomes for all parties including local licensees, Police, the Roads & Traffic Authority, the Mid North Coast Area Health Service, Coffs Harbour City Council, licensing authorities, Health Services, the business community, residents and visitors.
